o and also. wen i talked to the machine shop for the info to order my heads i found out that they only went.041 over. so my dad called back because they said they went .060 because .041 would need a custom ordered piston. well they went.041 and told us they hav the pistons for that on the shelf. then were lik so you want to go .060 and of course we dont. this shop is so retarded we cant wait to get our **** back itll be the first and only work they do for us.

we used them because we had about 10 racers (dirt track) tell us that there's noone better. but apparently there is only 1 guy that does the machine work and hes a perfectionist but 1 guy with 200 blocks to do well u can figure it out.

I hope you have a work order with clear instructions. I would demand what was on the work order.

you mean something stating everything they've done? they sent us a reciept/bill listing everything they've done. just doesnt list details as to how big they went and numbers. like i said though. there supposed to be an extremly good shop for race motors but they have some crap customer service and communication.

damn that's too bad.

I've learned a long time ago that "if it ain't in writing, then it ain't "

It was encumbent upon you to clearly document what you wanted done and to have the shop sign off on it and you to keep a copy. That is called a scope-of-work.

if the guy is a friend or a friend of a friend then it's a different story.

At the end of the day, you are going to have one bad *** ride and we all want to see a video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well wen we dropped it off we went down a big checklist with them but boring the cylinders was in question because the block was in real good shape. lik you said in the end it'll be pretty bad and ill be satisfied (even though im a little down right now about spendin 15k)

o forgot to say got the rear gears changed so the rear will be together soon and hopefully we can get the tank in as well.
