This one is an Auto,,,, age is catching up on me. Since I commute I sometimes get caught in traffic jams. 3 hours of working the clutch can fire my knee up for 3 or 4 days. Also the thread is newer. I had just a regular thread but decided to just re-start it in the project section.

Yea, Check out you tube videos for Dipmycar.com. You can do your whole car.
Wow I am not sure if it is the combination of the 18' wheels the 32mm sway bar or the fact the original sway links were worn but this setup handles corners much better. Now the rear is the issue in the corners. Might need some better sway bar bushings and some new shocks in the back. AC also came in handy this week also

She is a goner I think. The down side to daily commuting in a car you love. While driving 70 MPH I hit a tractor trailer wheel still in the rim. It launched me into the air, I lost both driver side tires, I landed hard and right into the concrete divider wall. The photo looks fixable but there is a lot of damage to the underneath, oil pan and rear axle are done for and I am not sure about the trans. Engine sounded like crap when I final came to my senses enough to shut it down.
I was taken to the hospital and scanned head to toe and released with soft tissue damage. To early to say if this is all just strains or tears.
I never saw the tire at all the insurance adjuster said it is not uncommon for tires to be pushed around like a pin ball and it may have just been a flash. Black tire on a new black road in a pitch black night. They are not blaming me. It is being covered under Comprehensive not Collision so it is seen as similar to hitting a deer .

Glad in reading you are okay, to say the least, Gorn.
You basically 'walked' away, and have told about it.
Healing can take a while, but you're here to heal.
Yes, she looks like toast, burnt. I would suggest patting her top and say 'Thank you, Girl.'

I went to look at a 2010 that was advertised with 42,000 miles on it. It had 200,000 miles on it and the engine was replaced 42,000 miles ago and the owner that that was the same thing. It was an hour drive away, what a waste of time.
