Finally got the car looking all pretty the inside and outside. I just ordered Pacesetter headers with ORY pipe and should be here just after Christmas. Still wondering whether I'm gonna pull the whole bottom out to put the headers on and rid the car of EGR or do it all from the top.

Headers came today. Pretty darn quick shipping since I placed the order on the 19th. Just ordered Percy's Seal-for-Good gaskets and still waiting on the Y-pipe. Will post pics of the headers tomorrow and vid of an all stock exhaust for those who forgot what it sounded like. Haha.

Headers! A little Christmas present to myself. First two are before high temp paint. Second two are after.

Y pipe came two days later. Just waiting on my Seal-4-Good gaskets from Summit.

Minor set back on getting my car to where I want it to be. Hit some ice going 50 and spun up into a dirt bank and tore the front end up. Nothing else but the exhaust tips got hurt, so all minor stuff. And I still have paint left over from when I redid it before, so not a big deal.

Just wondering... what high temp paint did you use? Let me know how it turns out. I have VHT Flameproof silver on my LTs and it's peeling like crazy.

Also, why do you have the V6 cluster?

I used VHT Flameproof black. When you did yours, did you scuff or remove the original paint that came on it or bake it after the third coat?

From what I understand, there were certain "packages" that came with the Z28's. Some received a 150mph speedo, while others (like mine) came with a 115. I think there were other things too that were different like the speed rating on the tires.

Thank you.

Got my headers in last night. I have to say, they are not as hard as everyone makes them out to be. That might just be me since I jacked up the car really high and did it from underneath. Will post pics of the progress later tonight. For now, I'm gonna post a vid of an all stock Z28 exhaust.
