Ok so this past week I've done three more things to my Camaro. It got a new steering wheel (factory style), a 1-piece drive shaft out of a Z28 (HELLA more responsive!!), and a poly trans mount (rock solid)
Here's the bad news: My car is due for a new transmission any day now
Hopefully it will hold up til my tax return.
On another note, here is a list of stuff that I plan on doing to my car before I consider it "Done":
New motor and Tranny
Headers
Flowmaster Exhaust
Z28 Rear End with Limited Slip and Disk Brakes
Short Shifter
Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
Sway Bars
Strut Tower Brace
Lowering Springs
Panhard Bar
Torque Arm Relocation Kit
Window Tint
Wheels and Tires
Paint
Pioneer HU
10" RE Audio Subs in Stealth Boxes on either side of the well
Component Speakers
Two Amps (2000watt Monoblock and a 1200watt 4-channel)
I have a long ways to go. But every journey of 1000 miles begins with a singe step. I'll update this thread as I make progress.

Nice work so far Chaotic and nice list you got going.
I'm glad to hear that you notice the difference with the new driveshaft, I'm waiting on mine to arrive ordered it on Tuesday.
You have listed new motor and tranny; are you going to rebuild or just find some good used ones? If your getting different motor and tranny, any chance you looking at going 3.8l?

I am curious, why? I mean I know what they do but unless your planning on getting more the 350HP out of the car do you think this will get you anything? I know cars deep into the 12 second area that still have their stock setup. The case on the T5 could use the help at 280HP but an automatic should be fine.

I'm getting the relocation kit because I keep ripping trans mounts up. It's the torque arm lifting up on the back of my tranny and that's what's ripping the mounts. So I'm relocating it.
As far as the motor and trans goes, I'm staying stock. 3.4 with a 5-speed. I don't want to deal with the wiring changes for the 3.8. And I DEFINITELY don't want to deal with a v8 swap. So it will stay a 3.4... Unless I come across a really sweet deal on a full donor car with a bigger motor. I'm planning on getting used stuff out of the salvage yard because rebuilding is SUPER expensive. I don't have that kind of money.
Speaking of getting stuff from salvage yards, I found a tranny with 80xxx and a 1 year warranty for $400. Now I gotta come up with $400 haha
MellowYellow: Gotta make do with rattle can paint. You sure as hell can't tell that I rattle canned it though! Looks like factory paint lol.
Bandit: The 1-piece driveshaft was a MAJOR improvement. I ended up with a steel one from a LT1 though. The aluminum one should be even better. BTW I've heard that the torque arm from the v6 cars get in the way of the aluminum driveshaft. I'm not sure if that's true though. Make sure it has plenty of clearance when installing it or you'll be tearing that driveshaft to bits! lol
