Fenders came this morning! Pulled my cracked fenders off and took the bumper off. Took off the fender mouldings and stripped the turn signals, liscence plate bracket and shields that run underneath the car.

Cleaned the bumper real good and will start working on it tomorrow. Hoping to get the fenders scuffed so my dad can get them cut in tomorrow night! He's going to paint them on the car because they really have to stretch to get over the studs where it meets the bumper and we dont want to scratch it putting it on. New tires will be arriving tomorrow as well!

Fixed the rust on the core support and my dad sealed and painted it.

New tires came yesterday also!

Before I put the fender on, I replaced the lower door hinge as well, which was damaged.

Also painted the calipers black and then did pads and rotors.

Getting there!

Thanks buddy. No new progress pics from the last couple days but there were a couple noticable chips and a small crease in the right quarterpanel, so my dad thought it would be best to fix all the imperfections and paint both sides of the car. And then the front bumper will be painted last. We didnt like the tires that we got for the car so we sent them back and ordered new tires from Firestone which will be in Friday. The insides of the rims are painted and I taped them off so my dad can finish painting when we go back to the shop tonight after he's done golfing. Haha. Car will hopefully be ready for paint before I leave for work tomorrow. Goal is for the car to be painted tomorrow night. I ordered a speaker grille for the Bose setup in the hatch, which is missing. Cant wait to get the car on the road!
