Hi everyone, I have a few issues , 1 being the drivers side axle has a lot of horizontal play, in/out, can anyone out there tell me if this is common on the 10 bolt 2.73 rear ends on these cars and what i should look for when I rebuild the rear end ? 2nd any help getting a hyper tech programmer un-vin locked , I was burned when I bought the tuner and I really just want to change stuff like the rear gears from 2.73 to 3.73 factory 4l60e auto firmer shifts, am I wasting my time ? Should I just use a pro as I do have a spare Ecu with my vin already programmed into it . And any feedback on best bang for the buck upgrades, thank you for any help

 

It is common to have play in and out due to the C-clip design. If yours is more then normal I have no idea.

 

I used lt1pcmtuning does a good job and you get followup tune if wanted or needed.

 

To your Power Programmer question, it can't be done without the car it was matched to.
