I am in the market for a 98-02 Camaro, and was wondering if getting cloth seats in a used car is advised. I realize the cloth is susceptible to absorbing fluids, stains, showing dirty, etc. However if I have to go with cloth seats, is there a way of deep cleaning that can be done to ensure nothing from the previous owner is left in it?

 

Unless the previous owner was a complete slob and the seats are extremly dirty anything can be cleaned. By yourself or by pro. And if you don't like used seats buy a new car.

 

You could always get a leather set from a wrecking yard or get the cloth seats recovered with leather at an upholstery shop.

 

How much would it cost to have the two buckets and the bench re-upholstered in leather?
