Update Seats from 95 to 2010-15?
Just wondering if anyone has installed seats from a 2010-15 in their 95 Z-28. My sons are really worn and I was think of buying him a set from a newer car. I know the airbags would not function and we can do "reasonable" modification to make the front seats work. I don't know if the newer back seat would even be possible but I would entertain just changing the front set and re-upholstering the rear seat to match. Has any out there tried this??

Might want to look at the 2000-2002 Trans-am seats. They seem to be the nicest direct bolt in replacements. All Camaro's up to 2002 are tuff to retro seats in besides the ones from a Vet. The is issue is seat height. Your butt is just a 2-3 inchs from the floor. In most cars the seat itself is thicker then this and once you add brackets you are losing 3-4 inchs of head room.
If you try it let us know, I do not know of anyone trying this. 5th gens are bigger cars
