Default twisted seatbelts

It looks like the seatbelts in my 2002 are installed with a full twist in both belts. How can I remove the plastic boot over the bolt holding the belt to the floor, without breaking the boot?

same thing happened to me. still havent found any new ones but havent put alott of effort into it. also, if plastic is feeling brittle get the hair dryer out and warm up plastic. not hot but warm. or could wait for extra hot day and roll up windows for a time,,, gets pretty hot

Default Found used belts

I figured out the lower cover lock. It screws out in 1 turn if you pry the edge up at the same time.
I also locsted belts in a junk yard.

Do you know the procedure to lower the inner. Roof panel without damaging it? I pulled some decent belts from a T top wreck yesterday, but I damaged the headliner doing it.
