Default Cargo Cover damage/parts

Hi everyone,

I'm sure this is a fairly common issue, but I'm wondering if there are any parts for this. My cargo cover (fabric covered board under the hatch) had one of the plastic ends of the pivot crack and break off.

The plastic seems to be really glued onto a metal rod there. Any ideas on fixing this? Has anyone seen those plastic ends sold anywhere, or am I stuck finding one at a salvage yard?
If so, I would love a tip on how to remove the plastic ends without damaging them.

try heating with hair dryer or if you have one heat gun. dont get it too hot. might have a look around the local hardware and see what they have in plastic stock.
