Default Tablet mounts

I'm looking for a good mount for a nexus 7 tablet. I ordered an obdII blutooth adapter from amazon and got the tablet on clearance at radio shack so I can run the torque app in the car. I thought of using it like a hud, which would be awesome, but daytime visibility would be an obvious issue. I'd like it to be somewhere easy to see and access and not block air vents, stereo or climate controls. An a-pillar mounting solution would be ideal even if I have to modify or build a mount.

I tripped across a company called Padholdr. They're extremely pricy compared to other mojnts available but their build quality seems to be good. I'm considering getting one of their universal mounts, attaching some strong magnets and installing a metal plate under my dashmat to make it easily removable when I need to with no visible evidence it was ever there.
