Default Sunvisor mirror question

It seems that I've always had trouble with the sun visors on my car. First I had the original ones on my 95 that had that odd map holder strap or whatever that stretched out and had to be tucked away. I replaced those with some matching color later model visors without that "feature", but the mirrors on those are "corroding" around the edges.

My visors are in pretty good shape, just not the mirrors and the plastic frames are cracked. Before trying anything myself, can you remove the plastic assembly and mirror to swap them out?

Yeah, I don't need all new ones. Except for the mirrors/plastic frames these from a 2000ish Camaro are in good shape. I've seen the mirrors and plastic sold separate online, but wanted to avoid guessing at how to remove the mirrors from mine to swap them out.

I never found a 4th gen camaro where the sun visors were not bent/broken at the corners. there is a write somewhere how to re do them your self or you can follow the link from Crabby an buy new ones. another alternative is to find on ebay a used pair from a mid 90s chevy van or similar (do you research) as I found some slightly bent, but broken, purchased for under 40, spray painted to match and they fit purrrrrfect.....
