Hi everyone, glad to be here. Gear Head here, I'm hoping someone can lend me some good information since we all love 4th gens. It's a 99, Z28 LS1, Automatic with 77k miles. Have a window leak recently on the windshield or pillar area. So recently my dashboard has stopped working on the electronical side of things. My speedometer, tachometer and odometer do not work. No gas gauge no temperature gauge. The mechanical gauges are working. Such as the oil pressure gauge, and the voltmeter. Also the ASR light flickers when I turn the car on but does not stay on anymore. I'm thinking it's related to the dashboard issue since they having at the same time. The weird thing, when a car is going through the self check and you hear the six bells go off when you first start the car is the digital seat belt light lights up when you first fire up and the car is going through the self check.

My guess is I fried the dashboard.

Sure sounds like a fried circuit board but electrical is far from my strong point.
Hang in there for a bit, we have some very knowledgeable guys in here that should chime in soon hopefully.
Meanwhile it might help to know more about your car besides it's a 4th gen.
Year, model, engine/trans, mods?

pull the gauge cluster and check for any corrosion or green at the connectors/circuits. far as I know all gauges are electric.
