Default Made a Stupid Mistake Tonight :( Help!

As I was trying to remove the dash cover in an effort to diagnose my oil pressure gauge being pegged, I snapped my dash (the large piece that covers most of the dash). Im bummin so hard cause mine was perfect.

First, how much of the dash has to come out to get the rest of it out?

Second, I see that Ebay has a dash overlay and its even made in the USA. Anyone try one of these? Their about $120.

Anyone parting out a 93?

By the way, I think I have confirmed its the oil pressure gauge that has failed. When I turn the key on, the needle moves a little to the left. I can move the needle with my finger and it has what feels like magnetic resistence. No matter where I place the needle it always returns to the 10 O clock position. I have ruled out the sender because its new and I have some movement of the needle at the gauge with the key on.

Try not to feel too bad. I cracked the dash in my old 96, being careful doesn't help much. Nice design they have to hold the dash in place, clips that can hold 50 lbs., and a dash panel that can't take 1 lb. of force!

I have seen those covers on ebay, I'm trying to figure out if they are just a cover for a broken dash or a whole replacement dash.

It looks like just an overlay for $119. The ones for $235. are probably the ones that are the actual dash replacement. Thats my guess anyway...

You could go to a auto salvage yard and get one for a tenth of the price, I found three or four perfect ones here in Ohio over the two yards I go to. Junk yard prices ftw
