Instructions needed. 96 Camaro Z28 TDR bypass on BCM.
****INSTRUCTIONS NO LONGER NEEDED****
I pass my experience to any and all of my F-body comrades.
My '96 Z28 was experiencing the following symptoms:
No starter crank
Security Light acting normal (dissipates after 4 to 5 seconds)
Gauges acting normal
Security light did not flash or turn on after unsuccessful start
fuel pump was priming
Cause was..... Theft Deterrent Relay! Tis located behind the glove box (you'll need to take it off) to the rightmost side of the space, behind a panel.
To fix, I joined the yellow and purple wires and bypassed the relay!
Hope this knowledge finds anyone well!
For now, this Z28 and I are back to the Frontlines of COVID.
