Exclamation camaro rs 3.1 parked car now it wont start please help

background: went to pick up friend for work and turned off car got back in and the car wouldn't start.

the starter wouldn't kick or even attempt the starter was fine but i got it replaced because it was under warranty.

i was advised to check and replace the distributor , the ignition coil, ignition switch on the steering column. after creaking all of them and having them put in the car still doesn't go. nor does the starter kick at all.

iv placed a push button on the starter it comes to life with ease but the engine still doesn't fire up.

iv ran threw the fuel pump the filter all the way to the rail of the V6 fuel injectors, iv got spark air but no gas. theirs pressure in the rail but not going past the fuel injectors.

iv though that maybe my car has locked up my injectors due to the VATS.
but i have no clue where to start because my Haynes manual doesn't have a chapter on it or a wire diagram. any thoughts would be appreciated, the closest shop is a ways a way and i lost my job due to this problem.

note: if the key is turned all the way and then the button is hit for the starter the car does nothing.

note: the timing has also been reset. no Chang.

Google" vats bypass " and it will show you how to bypass key reader in column using resistors from Radio Shack. More than likely the wires broke going to key reader and the vats activated, is your SECURITY light ON ?

Sounds like VATS is having problem. Is the security lamp coming on? Many cases the key you are using is causing the problem. Have you tried a spare key?

The bypass will only cost you like 2 dollars but you will need a digital ohm meter to read your key. Cross your fingers and hope its not the module itself that went bad. Good luck

On my car it was an orange colored sleeve with 2 white wires in it. I just unplugged it and stuck the resistors in the plug that goes away from the column.

11.85 , after doing a check and a look around i noticed that the wire was only getting a signal on one side . the notch in the key slot closest to the driver seems to be active and sending while the one on the opposite side isn't sending a signal nor a current. iv started taking apart the steering column to check the wire for any cuts while i re-installed last time so it can be replaced if so the local part stores dont have any resisters so i need to wait for tomorrow to get the resister.

side note: after searching the web for a while i found a short list of OHM's for the 92 camaro but it does not match my key the closest was a 1130 and a 1420. any thoughts?
