i need a dash pad if any one can get a used one off with out braking it i will buy it.

its true, you will NEVER find a dash pad on ebay for under 180, almost guranteed. If anybody happens to have two, ill buy the other one. I dont think i've ever seen a used one tho, impossible to get out maybe with out breaking.

When you do get a new one take those plastic interlock pieces off and replace them with regular velco tabs. It will hold it in place but also allow you to remove the pad in the future (if neccessary) with a lot less chance of breaking it.

 

i am a dumb *** i bought an overlay pad witch is supose to go over the existing dash pad. it has no hooks or any thing.

is there any way of making it work????????

 

Mine is also broken. And the weird thing is - before buying my camaro I test drove 2 others and both of them had theirs broken too. Is it something that is really common on these cars?

Sorry, can't help much with your problem. Im in the same situation.

 

the only reason mine is broke they are realy fragile. i was pulling out my gages and you have to lift it up to get out one of the bolts and it cracked. i was pissed and riped it out and now i know that i could have just got an overlay. so i went on e bay to get a dash pad and me being the dumb *** bought a overlay when i need the hole thing i was just wondering if i could make it work but i think i am going to sell it on e bay or to someone on here. i will sell it for $125 and $52 for shipping.
