I already found and purchased the same exact speakers (not that many around they don't make them anymore), except I was forced to purchase them (the infinity kappas) in a pack of 4, can I use these as sail panel speaker upgrades as well ( I realize the tweeter wont be functional on the kappas in the sail panels) or will I get better bass with the stock woofers.
Here is a pic of my headunit with the Metra double din install kit:

I did have to do a little grinding to get the install kit to fit properly. It's a little rough on the right side.

I used the door and sail panel speakers from the Level 2 package shown at this website Firebird and Camaro Speaker Package

I replaced the rear hatch speakers with just a pair of Kicker CS4 speakers. I'm also running a 10" sub in the space where a CD changer would be in the trunk.

4) I have actually done this it's easy just takes time

5) Metra harness works great

6) Take out the back seat and add a huge dual 15 box

7) Drive fast

Any questions?
Does anybody sell a dual box to go in place of the backseat or is it diy? I'm wanting to do this in the future.

I think that's a DIY thing.

Based on the contouring back there, you're best off doing it with fiberglass as well, so you can maximize air space with your box.

I replaced all the wiring in my car, because I'm using component speakers instead of co-ax.

pyle sells a box for the back seat is rated for 1000 watts has 2 12 in woofers a 5 inch mid range an 2 inch tweeter worked good for me face to the back of the car with 1400 watt pyle amp ,I used to play my mp3 throught it ,you can allways replace the speakers with better ones but like $200.00 for the whole set up ,I am not a guy who spends alot ,on stereos ,you can also buy a box an put your own speakers in it ,mine fit great with the back seat down an it was all I needed ,I may put it back in there one day for now I took it out after my engine swap,i think they sell an 18 inch version too, they make better ones now ,but if you want one with mids an tweeters built in,there only a few ,other choise is get a box an add the mids an tweets ,but pyle has bang for you buck ,mine for 2 years worked great ,an I am sure still does shook the whole car for $200,00 for the amp an box

Well, I ended up going with the pioneer avh-4200nex and the "correctly painted" metra double din bezel from double d mods. Waiting for them to arrive in the mail, anyone else use this bezel? howd it come out?
