Default Drivers door window will not go.down

Drivers door window doesnt do anything. Replaced the motor 4 years ago w a AutoZone motor. I hear the relay under the dash, but I hear nothing from the motor. I lubed the track, checked the fuse. Im guessing another motor? What's the regulator and how do I know if its bad? It was fine before it sat all winter.

Can i just unbolt the motor w the window up? Do I just pull the gear mechanism off the motor gear and replace the motor then pop the track gear back on the motor?

Mp, if you read my original post, I mention I already did that. Here's the update for thise who do read my posts, I bought a Delco original motor from.my dealer for less than the aftermarket auto part store knock off. I only use GM Goodwrench products on my 3 F bodies. I've seen aftermarket brands seized up after only 3 years.

After further inspection I realized there's a broken spring so I ordered a new assembly from the dealer it's only a few bucks more than the motor I'll have that baby in a little while anybody know how hard it is to put the regulator assembly?
