Default Drivers Door Replacement

We are thinking about replacing the drivers door on our 98 camaro with a door from a 2000 camaro. Will that fit correctly? Also, how hard is it to swap, the hinges seem like no problem, but the tube(for lack of a better word) with the electrical seems like it might be a problem. Both doors are all electrical. Thanks for any help.

There is a rubber boot with, I'm guessing the electricial wiring near the bottom of the door. The doors are all power so they must have wiring going thru to the firewall.

Remove the door panel, remove the wire connectors from each electrical component, and put a tab of masking tape on each wire writing down what they connect to. When everything is disconnected inside the door, pop the rubber conduit (boot) off the door, and pull out all the wiring from inside the door. Reverse the process with the new door.
