Default 96 z28 interior restore

ok im wanting to breath new life in the inside of the car as it's starting to show its age and bring it back to life.

My question is can you remove 96 z28 interior restore-%24_35.jpg the two spots with the arrows mainly the top one?

I have to redo my t top headliner and i want that spot to match my headliner

On the back side, look underneath the jute backing, and behind the fiberboard backer. Those trim panels are generally plastic and have tabs that stick through the door panel and are melted/mushroomed over to hold it in place. You'll want to creatively melt and push in those tabs back so that you can reattach them. A wider blade variable temperature soldering iron, like what's used to make stained glass would work for that.
