Default 30th Anniversary Question

So, my car popped up as a Z28/SS per the VIN according to USAA (insurance company) and I was asked if it was the 30th Anniversary edition. I said no, cause I was under the impression that they were all white with orange racing stripes, however I noticed 30th Anniversary emblems on the seat last night when I was getting in.

Did all 97's have that on the seat or is mine an odd ball?

Please notice, I did my research first.

The true 30th anniversary edition for 97 was the white orange stripes and white or white/houndstooth interior with multi colored 30th anniversary logo in the headrests and rear seat. All 97 camaros had the logo in the floor mats and headrests but just a single color thread not multi colored. I don't think the leather interior cars got the logo they might have but thy would have been single color as well.

Your car is a 30th anniversary car because that's what the calendar says.
But it's not the special "30th Anniversary Edition", white with orange stripes model.

That makes a lot of sense. My car is leather. The 30th anniversary emblem is embossed rather than stitched. Thanks for the info, guys.

mine is white with Orange stripes that end at the hood, not all the way down the front bumper and they are also not on the back hatch, but has the 30th anniversay logo on the back pillars. The seats are Grey cloth with the 30th anniversay embossed in the head rests and in the center of the rear seat back and on the floor mats. its automatic and LT1 motor. also has the security system, appears to be factory installed, under the dash. its a plug in power chip. will not so anything without it plugged in. I need to check the RPO codes in the glove compartment. the door sticker is smeared and cannot see all of the codes.

30th Anniversary EDITION cars will have the Z4C code on the tag on the drivers door. You can see the seat embroidery in the pic. The SS had houndstooth interior while mine has the plain white leather. It reminds me of a golf glove.
Here is a pic of a true SS and my Z28 on the right. I even got to hold the "birth certificate" for the SS!
