if the rearends are geared the same then you have nothing to worry about. i believe the 95 had gears sorta like the 93. is this a auto or manual, if manual m5 or m6. you need to start your own thread.

You guys swapping full rear-ends -- I sure hope you put your old ones back in the junkyards for others -- parts are becoming somewhat scarce for 4th Gens these days...

A better idea is to just replace the internals, if you're handy...

Alot of guys like to keep there old rears for safe keeping incase they blow there new one. I know I'm keeping mine just incase I ever need to do a quick swap. As for switching the internals it's not to hard as long as your not changing your pinion and gears. Keep it the same ratio and just switch the carrier you'll have it done pretty fast. I was originally going to do this but then I found the 4.10 gear ratio I wanted.

As for tuning the speed sensor for a obd1 car theres got to be a way. Even if you have to get gm to do it. Give your local gm dealer a call and talk to a mechanic and see if they can tune your speedo for the new ratio you get.
