Thumbs up z28 performance

Yeah, I just purchased a '94 Z28, SLP intake, SLP cold air, SLP loudmouth exhaust, stock headers, HyperTech performance chip. Nothing special. I was just wondering what I could do performance wise without getting into motor work. Cheap HP and torque gain.

not sure what you mean by stock headers, are they stock exhaust manifolds? you have a good start, i would say if you have long tube headers then a tune from pcmforless or solomon is in order. well either way a tune would make a difference its just better to get your mods done first. what trany do you have? what gears in the rearend?

well you got a good street car performer (for lack of a better term).
But the true performance is at the base of it all. internals. thats where you see the REAL gain. (yes, i know you said no internals) Intakes and exhaust will give a slighttt gain, but it seems marginal to me. if you wanted to really spruce up a factory engine, a blower kit on a realistic boost level will make it fast as the F word for a street car. plus it isnt too expensive sometimes

May I suggest a 383 stroked LT1 with forged internals?
