the master cylinder is up on the firewall. i assume you mean slave cylinder (bolted to the trans) you could change it on stands no problem. make sure you bench bleed it first though, youtube bench bleeding external slave. it may not be specifically a camaro but its the same process.

i think the slave cylinder is outside the trans on the t56 cant tell from this
http://shbox.com/1/t56_service_manual.pdf my book shows it as outside with a hose hooked to it.

Took off the broken slave CYLINDER and replaced the d.one the and when in came down to bleeding it... Couldn't get it bled on the car and couldn't get it accomplished. Any word on how to bleed it without bench bleeding it.

only other way i know of is to pump the crab outa it
