I have a dilema... I was offered $4500. for my 93 Z28. I have alot of work done to this car, but I can still make a few hundred bux selling it at this price. Car has 142k on it, but its almost mint condition... The exterior has a few dings and scratches, but the engine has a ton of work done by me and the previous owner. No leaks or noises, runs real strong. Decent wheels/tires. Interior is almost perfect. Rear suspension is all freshly built with middle grade tubular bits. There is no rust anywhere and its extremely clean underneath. I like the car, but rarely drive it. I just know that I might never get this sum of money offered again. So would you sell or keep it?

 

I was offered 6500 on two occasions and turned them both down. It took me almost two years to find a Camaro that was in my budget and mine isn't it the greatest condition due to previous owners neglect. And until it's where I want it, I doubt I'll ever sell it. Even with me driving my four wheeler to work more than my Camaro. Hahah

 

I'd sell it in a heartbeat, your car, at least in my neck of the woods is going for half that

 

I wouldn't, but cars are more expensive here. I could sell my IROC for at least $7k, if it were running.

The question you really have to ask is whether you'd miss it, if it were gone, and where the money you'd get out of selling it would go, I think.

 

I've been through hell and back with mine, but nope wouldn't sell it ever.

Yea, Iwill miss it. Ive owned many cars that Ive regreted selling. I get over it after a while... but it sucks for a time. That said, I seriously doubt I will ever get more than $4500. for a 93 Z 28 with 142k miles (and counting) ... The potential buyer said he would give me 2500 yesterday, and 2000 on Monday.... Hes a friend of the family, so Im not worried... but the wire transfer didnt go through yesterday...so it aint a done deal yet....but its looking like its going to be sold.

I won't sell my V6 and I was offered more than $4500. If you love your car you will miss it after the sell.
