I recently purchased a 95 camaro. I've had some trouble finding winshield wipers that fit and operate properly. I did finally find a set at advanced auto parts, but in the rain they seem to leave a film on the windshield or expose something already on the windshield itself. Where do you all find your wipers?

The wiper arms in your cars have the end (shepherds crook) turned in the wrong direction, and they need special wiper blades, the ones listed in parts catalogs usually do not fit properly. You can get proper fitting ones from a GM dealer, or I have had some luck with Bosch blades, but you need to play with the arm adaptor.

 

Thanks for the comeback. I had no idea wipers would be this hard to replace. I shudder at the thought of going to the dealer, but whatever it takes, I guess.
