I have a 98 Z28. Lately the radio will stop working then come on again. Sometimes it stays off for days. When the radio does this the windows will not work. I have pulled the radio to check connections. Looked a fuses. Everything I can think of. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks craby. Looks pretty simple. Try this weekend.

 

Do yourself a favor and remove the glove box first. It's only 3 screws and it will make the job a lot easier to reach and see.

 

Check for shorts

 

Resoldered the 5 points on the BCM and now everything is working. Thanks again craby.
