Default will it fit?

will this raybestos caliper (fits the 98-02 Camaro) PN: RC10966QS

with this raybestos rotor PN: 56325

fit under a 16 in wheel on a 94 v6, don't know if it makes a difference but I have aftermarket wheels not the factory ones?

to save you guys from having to go look the rotors outside diameter is 10.94in, and the detentions on the caliper are 14.1x6.9x6.3 inches...according to the internet, haha.

Only if you change out the spindle. The 93-97 V6 and V8s used different spindles and brakes. In 98 all Camaros had the same front brakes and in 99 they all had the same rear as well.

Your existing rotors are 278 mm in diameter (10.95"). So what's the reasoning behind wanting to use 1998-up ones?

I wanted to upgrade to what looked like better calipers, since I think one of them is on its last legs....pads are dragging a little....don't yet have the budget for bigger wheels so gotta stay with the same size rotors. What kind of modifications do I have to make to switch to the 98 and up spindles, and would it be worth it?

Yes it is worth it but you need the caliper mounts also and your going to have to deal with the brake lines themselves.

The rotors are about an inch bigger the aluminum twin piston calipers with give more even pressure and dissipate heat much better.

Here is why you need spindles shown below is 2000 set of rotors set on my 96

I still plan on this upgrade on both my 96 and my 93, Rock auto had the rebuild kits on clearance so I bought a dozen

This shows the caliper mount your going to need along with the spindles. Carful buying them used they tend to seize up. The one in the picture is un-repairable.

Naw car is going to my daughter. I will get her gas charged something but she rarley goes around a corner harder than gran-maw on the way to Church.

The shocks still pass PA law for saftey but I am not going to let my daughter drive on those things.
