Why would u spin it 180 for.

Ya 97 and up has the new dash. Thats what I ment.

Ohh I totally misread that as you saying the 97+ dont have the red thing.

ya in 97 they changed the dash to something imo much more boring but at least your car says CAMARO on the dash

i think the motor came outa a second gen and he is trying to put it in a 4th gen. that first picture is not a 4th gen.

Um... Look at the shock towers and the antilock brake unit... That is 4th Gen. The cowl does not have the plastic grate on it and that kinda throws you off. The electric water pump is trick and lotsa $$$. Oh and if you look really really close you can see some plug wires stuffed under the cowl. Yea... change the cap and rotor on that bad boy.

That's kind of funny, because unrelated to this topic, somebody was asking me why I don't just put in an older 350 in mine and call it a day. The first thing I said was "try to work on the distributor."
