Why will only one of my headlights work.
Okay this Is bugging me because only one of the actual four headlights on the front of my 1994 chevy camaro v6 3.4L car will turn on. I have the lights turned all the way up along with the switch thing all the way to the right. But only that one headlight out the the four will turn on. Could It be that all three have went out or wtf. I would think about buying new bulbs but I cant find any on the Internet. The only thing I can find Is the whole light.

I'm pretty sure those are sealed bulbs. Two of them are probably low beams and two are high beams, if I remember from my moms 94. Just swap the one that works,(high or low) with it's equivalent on the other side. That should get you started on if it's the bulb or the wiring.

If it's a low beam coming on chances are the other is burnt out and the relay for the high beams is loose or bad. Also these are sealed units but you can crack the seal remove the bulbs and put in replacement bulbs and reseal them with high temp rtv sealer.

Also check the connectors that plu into the light. They can corrode and become loose. I had this problem and it pissed me off. Especially when a cop told me it wasn't working after i replaced the sealed beam unit.

Are you saying that basically the car Is meant to have the whole headlight replaced Instead of replacing the bulb. As far as high or low Im now sure but when you are looking at the front the the car the one light that turns on would be the light that Is the farest on the right. Like on the right side there are two lights. Its the right one on the right side.

The wierd thing Is that when I drove this car In the dark when I first got It I think I remember the lights being bright to where they lit up the whole road. But I cant remember If thats correct. Idk If this makes a difference but the battery went out recently because I left a light on Inside. I charged the battery and the car starts up now. I wouldnt think that the out battery would have anything to do with why this works because If It can start a car It should be able to power the headlights. Who knows.

its not that unusual for more than one bulb to go out in a short time. i picked up some h4351xv low beams from advanced. also some eiko h4352 65 watt brights both are a little brighter than stock. h4352 is high beam h4351 is low beam.

Are you saying you replaced the bulb Instead of the whole headlight because people above said that the headlights are sealed.
