well you guys will find this quite interesting - this guy says he is at a job in london and will ship the car to me by the company RJJ Shipping. He said the company required a downpayment of half the price of the car and that iwould be able to test drive it for7 days and if ididnt likeit, they would take itback and i would get my money back.I did a search on google on this so-called companyand came up with this site - http://www.rjjfreight.co.uk/index.htm. im not very good with these kind of things so tell me what you guys think - is this legit, should i check into it more, or should i just forget it?

 

dude let it go.the guy with the escalade my dad was saying the same thing and you only have to pay half at first.2000 might not seem like that much but considering he has already prolly scammed 30 ppl hes making decent money and hes probablly doing this on numerous vehicles too.i would still ask to see if i could see itin person during a "business trip" next week and see what he says then.im almsot positive its a scam

 

yea i was going to try something like that because i actually have a friend from near where this guy is at (london) and i think i may see if i can get him to look at it and ask the seller if thats all right and if its not then ill just forget it.

 

You know that saying "if it seems to good to be true, it probably is," I'm pretty sure that applies here.

 

well needless to say you guys were right about this - i kinda thought thats how it would work out but i just wanted to me sure about the whole thing. i caught the guy by sending him an email asking if i could get my friend that lives like 10 miles south of london to go test it out and make sure everything is legit about it and make sure that im not getting scammed. after sending that i have yet to hear back from him and he took the car off of autotrader. thanks for the advice guys. now hopefully the loan i applied for on a 97trans amwill be approved. (yes dont worry im going toa dealer this time)
