I don't personally like the black panels. But if it's going to be done, I'd rather see it in gloss to match the rest of the paint on the car rather than any kind of flat black. There was a maroon Z28 running around Hanover that had a flat black panel. Looked awful. Looked too...cheap.

Maybe I'll paint mine pink and do the reverse thing...haha.

^Haha pink would be awesome! But then you'd have to paint the letters of CAMARO black lol

Lol yeah. I'd have to get that done when I get her completely repainted. They can deal with all the mess of painting and fixing colors, that's what they'll get paid for.

True that! I would repaint mine but a decent factory quality paint job is like $3000 with body work and all that.

I never considered a 'reverse' panel, but I might play around with the idea in Photoshop and see how it looks.

Well mine is "glossed" with the silver on the car so it actually looks like it's factory. And it matches my Side mirrors and the t top panel. If it was flat then yes it would look like $hit, but mine is done right. And DarlingReject, you can buy a set of pink camaro inlays for your tail light panel, that would look really good in my opinion.

I already painted them pink. Inlays are garbage.

Yeah, black outs dont do anything for me either, on coloured cars. However on gloss black, satin looks badass. I have a mat bonnet, boot garnish front bumper, and t top surround. It a nasty car that is why it has the name the "GRIMREAPER", it is so grumpy, it will shake your fillings out of your teeth!!!

Cool huh.

Unless you see a flat black panel in person you cant really judge. I thought it looked cheap in pics but in person it looks GREAT. Mine is factory painted gloss black but i would love it to be flat black. I also want to match the mirrors and roof black oem.
