Default Whining noise on 1994 camaro v6

Hey guys! This is my first post and hopefully you guys can be a help. Ok heres my problem: We just replaced the upper ball joint on the right side and the tie rod end on the left. We took it out for a test drive and every time we go over 35 theres a whining noise. It didn't do it before we replaced those 2 things. It kind of sounds like the belt, but it doesn't do it sitting still so i'm not sure. It's not a huge deal, but when I'm sitting in the car for an hour with that whine, it gets very annoying. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Your sure it didn't do it before??? sounds like a bad wheel bearing. If you go out and drive it and get up until it makes the noise then on an open road and swerve left and right (kind of like if you were swerving through cones that are lined up) If the noise goes away turning a certain way then its a bad wheel bearing. if it goes away while turning left the left wheel bearing is bad, if it goes away while turning right the right wheel bearing is bad. Or if you can hear it while turning left the right wheel bearing is bad..... ect.....

The two loudest whines I usually hear in the car are... "are we there yet"? and "your driving is making me sick"!
The noisecould be a coincidence. Does it sound like a scraping/whine noise. How aboutthe wear scrapers on the front brake pads? Ifthe whine goes away when you hit the brake pedal, check the pads.

Thanks RSSteve for the the suggestion ill be sure to try that tonight. It doesn't make the noise while idling and the noise is coming from the front somewhere and since it doesn't make the noise while idling, its hard to tell if its the engine or tires or wherever else it may be coming from.

Sounds like one of the tyres (Tires over there) is dragging/scuffing due to the tracking being out of line. Did you get the tracking aligned after changingthe tie rod?
