Somebody has to know why my check engine light is on, it has a VATS code vehical anti theft system, like i said i have 2 sets of keys both start car and lock it and turn on the theft system but the check engine light still comes on after i clear it,is it a resister?lock going bad?where do i start to look? its a 2000 Z28, I can't stand that damn light, going to put a sticker on it for awhile.....

 

What number code are you getting?

 

I'll have to reread it again, i forgot the code but it boiled down to the VATS, will post the code tomorrow, they say the minds the first thing to go.....
