Where is the factory amp?

RE: Where is the factory amp?
Great, now that I know where it is located I can bypass the factory amp.
I installed a new high watt stereo. I think the amp is multiplying the wattage because I turn my head unit on low volume and it is very loud!

Ya need to find a level regulator and you can use the stock Amp with your new stereo
For Bose Amps, use Scosche OEA-4 (only $12.46!)

For Monsoon Amp-- I'm not sure, anyone know? I wonder if the same Scosche OEA-4 would work -- anyone try it?

Look on our headunit -- does it say Bose or Monsoon? Then you will know.
If it says Delco, then you have no amp.

I wish I would have known about this a long time ago.
I think I have Bose? Not too sure...
Either way I should really look into this.

Mine says Alpine...
Seriously though...I think it said Delco. I think the speakers say Delco as well. There is a sub in the trunk. I thought that Bose made the units for Delco?
