Lol, its all good. I was trying to make a funny. No offence taken at all. At least we have knowledgabe members like you willing to share that knowledge instead of always brow beating. Like I said, At least I learned something - I'm sure I knew the A/C runs with the defrost but it just didnt click that it was the same as the main system. Anyway, thanks for squaring that away.

if you were talking about me cpl about the brow beating then im sorry. I would of tried to explain it but im not to good at it. my dad use to own a shop that just did automotive a/c work. hes the one who taught me what i know about them. and i use to work up there with him. my best explanation would be that its good to run it even if you dont need to cause the seals can start to leak or like gorn said the compressor can lock up. just like its good to run a car if its gonna be sitting up for months.
