Wink

wow Greenarrow....I like your vehicle!
My tire guy said the same thing. He was really patient with me today. I am going with 17"s all the way around and I am deciding on tires. I want American tires. Then we are lowering the front a tiny bit and the back a little bit. I think the back will be .5 inches higher than the front. He said it will give me the illusion I want.

Yeah that's a good combo, I would suggest BFG tires, they are priced pretty good and last a while with good traction. If you really wanted performance, then nitto or kuhmo, cooper cobra's are good also. Whatever you go with, search around, you can find some good deals. And also look on ebay, got my wheels with tires for around 900 from there.

If you're putting on a 17" wheel (that's what I have), go for a 17x9.5 with a 275/45/17. I personally run BFG KDWS tires all around and they've served me well. Not all that great in the snow, but hopefully it doesn't snow too much when you're in the Camaro.

By the way, the front air dam (the "plastic thing") hits on everyones car unless you drive really slow, that's why it's made out of a flexible plastic.

you know, I may be fairly new around here but this is the 24th post in a thread and not one mention of an optispark; is that a record or something?

Thanks for telling me about the air dam....I was going to take it off but it does seem to serve an important purpose. I will check out the BFG tires you mentioned. Have a kewl day!

Don't take off the air-dam! You'll have problems getting ample airflow through your radiator and then you'll have overheating problems, which are never good.
