Choosing a larger wheel doesn't necessarily make the car sit any higher, it depends on the wheel/tire combo. I could run a 14" wheel but run a 275/200/14 tire and have my car's overall ground clearance raised due to the tall sidewall on the tire. That said, I could also run a 19 with a 275/30/19 and have my ground clearance overall lowered. I would recommend sticking to the stock ride height, or if you want to reduce the wheel gap going a little over stock and then lowering it back down to what it should be.

Fortee: Don't start leg humping in the tech sections, it will **** me off, and that won't turn out well for you.

I have narrowed it down to these...

I think one of them is some sort of Corvette replica. I found them all on the Custom Wheel site. I think that all three would look good so I am kind of neutral.

I am going tire shopping first...

I like the way they both sit...

I think mine sits a little low to begin with when I pull out of the parking lot that plastic shield thingy always scrapes the ground...drives me nuts, so I am going to do the wheels and tires first and see how I like it...then look into the shocks and springs....

This board is so great...thanks for the help everyone!

Mocha - I have those corvette wheels on my camaro and they are really nice. One other option you can do is go bigger rim in the back. Say 17 X 9.5's on the front with 275/40's, and then 18 X 10's on the back with maybe 300/30's. The 18's tires will be expensive, well expensive to me anyway. But it'll make the wheel well on the back look more filled in, but won't be much different than what you have now. One thing to keep in mind, if you go taller than what the factory 16's with 245/50's are, then you will throw off your speedo. The 17's with 175/40's are the same height as your stock 16's with 245/50's. To fix your speedo if you go taller, you'll need a power programmer to adjust your computer. Or the like programmer. Take a look at my pics for some of the covette wheels. My car has been lowered 2 inch's in the back and 1.5 in the front.
