Whats it worth
I have a 2002 true SS automatic. black on black on black. it has 55k miles on it. I got offered $12,500. Is that a fair price?? I have brand new rims and tires on it

All depends on what a persons willing to pay and your area. How much did SLP do to it? And what have you done to it? I know in my area a fully optioned SLP, low miles SS goes for north of 25k, but that's with the M6, and I've only ever seen one.

M6 = 6 speed manual. A4 = 4 speed Auto
During '96-02 you could have SS's with the SLP package. Under that package you had a few sub packages. To sum it up, RPO code WU8 shows it's a true SS, which gave it a different spoiler and hood vs the Z28. If it went to SLP for modifications, it will have a Y2Y RPO code on the drivers door. There will also be a sticker on the passenger do listing all the sub-options it received under the Y2Y option.
Packages ranged from 305 HP up to 345 HP and had varies cosmetic differences based on said options. You can call/email SLP with your VIN and they should be able to give you a break down of everything your car has.

Oh ok I see. Yeah mine is a M4. And I've called up SLP before I bought it and it is a true SS from SLP. Yeah that's been checked already. I'm asking $12,500 for it, that's pretty low I think.
What do you mean that's your dream. Are you interested in buying???

You got the A4. Haha. M is for the manual trans. What other options did it come with though? If it's a base model SS, then $12, 500 is pretty good deal for you, but I wouldn't be afraid to ask for more with the lower miles and new wheels/tires. If it's a higher optioned SS, then I'd defiantly ask more.

If you want to get the most of out of a lower miles SS you are going to need all the original parts like the original rims/exhaust anything that may not be original. There is a 2000 SS with a bunch of mods by me with 48K on it, They are asking 12.5 for it, no takers so far. Mods hurt because most people looking for low miles want all original cars.

sorry for hijacking this thread haha
Hey im looking at this car and want to know what you guys think a good price would be to buy it?
1995 Camaro z28 lt1 350v8 t-56 6 speed manual with 3.42 gears all stock 150,000 miles runs and drives great, motor runs as it should and has the power you'd expect a lt1 to have. The transmission shifts great with 0 issues, gets over 30mpg on the highway and you can cruise at 80mph at 2,000 rpm in 6th gear. Has cruise control and cd player with factory premium sound system with a factory subwoofer radio sounds great for a older car.
the body is in great condition was completely taken apart and professionally repainted panels off with no tape lines 6 years ago with ppg paint, materials alone cost over 2000$ without labor. after paint it was color sanded and buffed 1000-4000 grit anyone familiar with painting knows how time consuming this is.
the interior is practically brand new still with no signs of wear besides on the carpet by the clutch pedal.
only bad is the power steering pump isn't working currently but the car can be driven just fine as is.
The owner is selling because he just ordered a 2014!
Only has two pics of it that aren't great but im asking him for more when he replies to my last email.
