What's this part called... and where can I get it?
I forgot my glasses at home... drove at night... and smacked straight into a curb while I was preparing to turn doing about 20MPH. That equals a really jacked up underside of my car!!! If I remember correctly this metal "engine crossmember" runs from side to side underneath the oil pan. I'm pretty sure it's what the engine mounts connect to on the frame of the car... but I also could be completely wrong haha. Anyways it's dented bad and has thrown off the camber in my front right tire really bad so I need to replace/fix it.
What is this part called? Where can I get one? (other than junkyards) Can I maybe even hammer it back to normal? Thanks

its either the sub frame, which the engine mounts to, or the lower A arm. It depends which you you have bent if you have. When you get under there is a bolt at the rear which adjust caster, i hit a curb and this moved but if you take it to a shop they will just losen the nut, set the suspension up and tighten it again. I did mine myself when i hit a curb, but think its quite cheap to get a set up anyway

Sounds like the sub frame is what it is and I took it in for an alignment but they said it was too bent to get it perfect but they adjusted it as much as they could. So... can I maybe take it out... and hammer it back into place? Or could I maybe find one online?
