can someone please tell me what this part is called!!!!!
i took this off of my camaro its a 93 z28 with a lt1 engine.....i need to know what this part is called and where i can buy it......please help ..im a lady in need of help

Just curious as to why you took it off, if you don't know what it is or what it does? Auto parts stores should have or be able to get whatever you need. Welcome to the site.

i took it off cuz i know its bad...my car isnt running because of it..i know its bad cuz when i give it a tap the cars starts.....um also i dont know if this is the ignition module cuz i have taken it to autozone and advance autoparts and the module's they have are diffrent looking so i just wanna know if someone can identfy the part for me...heres another picture of it
