I emailed the dealership and asked them if the description was suppose to go with the picture shown or another car. Said it appeared to be 2 different cars. We'll see what response is. Thanks for pointing it out, I like to toy with people lol

Oh, and you're off to a good smart ars start with the dealer, but they're probably not going to get your meaning.

Ok so you're not a smart a$$ just a bad a$$. lol They are different and way opposite. I think being a bad a$$ is awesome lol. I've always tried to convert my husband but after 20.5 years of marriage, it's not worked.

You're probably correct but I'll be sure they fully understand in my reply once they send their reply.

I wonder if I should educate them that if that car indeed was a rare edition car, price would be more accurate but since it's not, it's robbery. Or should I just not even bother telling them they are asking WAY too much for it.

By the way, what ever happened to Massey? Did y'all run him off? lol

Where would you find a real price on a 30th anniversary z28? When you do the NADA thing it brings up z28 SS. Are they they the same? It lists same car as $13K.

Somehow you came away with the impression that I'm not a smart azz! How did that happen?
Book value, and street value are three different things. The books usually don't reflect on the true value of a collectible edition. Best way for that is to look at ones that are for sale, get an average, and figure down a reasonable negotiation price. Determining that can take a little longer, because you may not see a certain model for sale on a continuing basis.

Ok let me ask it this way. If that car in that description was really a white z28 with orange stripes, how off would $8k be one way or the other?
