Default what is the tool to remove the battery cable

what is the tool to remove the battery cable? is there any special tool to remove the battery screws of the cables? cus I guess the resevor is leaking hope its only the hose under the battery.

I use a 5/16", which is essentially the same difference. SAE rules!

8mm ratchet wrench is the best, they sell an actual battery wrench at like Walmart (Idk if there's a Walmart around you but any parts store)

Oh thx, guys but I found that the Mechanics used a primitive tools before so the 8mm will not be effective any more the surface of the screw is almost flat. they used a pliers the last 15 year........ :-)

You will need to use a small pair of Vise-Grips and once remove I would install new battery bolts.

Yeah, that screw is easily replaceable so you may want to add on to your next parts order. It just pops out of the molded PVC cable end.
