It offers less heat soak then the stock manifold and over all has a lot more flow then the LT4. If you are bolted with headers, exhaust, intake it could be a good pick.

In my opinion it's not worth the money. Save yourself some cash and get your stock intake ported to match you heads (if you have aftermarket heads) and then get the front ported so you can run a 58mm TB (if you're making over 350 RWHP). The stock LT1 intake can flow more than enough to support 400+ RWHP if you have a 58mm TB on the front.

Slvr beat me to it. Not really worth it. Port the stocker. Sit down and get some quality time with the dremel.

I dont recomend doing it your self for the first time. But porting is a good way too go. SLVR gives good advise so if he said that then it must be true .

I'll also say that you should probably take it to a professional for the port matching, you don't want to grind the intake runners so thin they warp or burn through. Porting for the TB could be done with a dremel though, that's how I was planning on doing mine

I dremeled my own. I wouldn't recommend doing it if you have no experience with a dremel, its a good idea to practice on some scrap. If you use a lower speed you won't take off too much material, so its not that big of a deal. Its not like you are using a monster power tool thats going to tear the aluminum to shreds the second you touch it. It took me several hours.
