alright i keep hearing this manifold isnt good i actually bought it b4 i found this site i got it and the hot cam from ebay for 300 i thought it was an awesome deal why is it so bad and wat can i do to make it better also is the lt4 hot cam a good cam or should i sell it and get another?

nothing is wrong with the manifold. its just a general waste of money unless you have a setup that needs to move a lot of air. hot cam is great for a streetable option.

alright thanx for answerin i thought somethin was wrong wit it but i wont be usin either till sometime next year wen i build my 383

Sorry to take those good feelings away, but there really isn't much of a flow difference between the two intakes. There's another post that is maybe 2 days old about this same thing. Either way, the stock LT1 intake will flow as much if you port match the heads to the intake runners and port out the front for a 58mm TB. But...it's pretty and red right?

no it silver but lik i said i spent 300 for the intake and cam so is there anything i can do to make it flow better

slvr, I agree its not the greatest investment, but it will make a difference, especially on a 383. Consider the fact that he already owns the manifold.

actually the lt1 version is silver and then the lt4 one is red, and it actually flows a lot better than the stock one, its has the air gap design which you will get cooler air that is more straight through
