Default Waxing with stripes?

I've got my new vinyl racing stripes on finally, and now it's time to give it a good wax. Any precautions? I'm worried about getting wax gooped up on the edge of the stripes. And will waxing right over the stripes so any good for the vinyl? I wish I could use my favorite electric buffer, but I've read that it is a bad move. Sorry, no pics until I get my new corner lenses in

Use that wax called ICE. It doesnt goop and it does a pretty good job. I use it more than any other. Just make sure you look when you do the "wax off" part or you'll miss a bit of it. It'll make your black plastic things black again too. I like it!

At the dealership we use shine to show and it works a charm and smells good.

Thanks, never used ICE before, I've seen it, but I've always stuck to my meguires stuff. (spelling?)

That's the wax that looks like water right?

Spartan, do you know where I could get shine to show?

I second the Ice, I like it too. You don't want to use a white paste wax any more, or you'll pack crud in your crack! [:@]

Im not sure where we order it from but i can look. Shine to show is a liquid too not the gummy stuff. Like i said smells pretty damn good too.

I'm not worried about how the outside of my car smells LOL. Yeah, it's the stuff that looks like water. Don't leave it in your car when youre done though. Keep it in the house. Something with the heat that is inside the car on hot days does something to it and it doesn't work as good.

I hate when crud gets packed in my crack
