Water In Engine?

My opinion is that you should definately use a 50/50 mix of coolant and distilled water. Some may say that they have used tap water and don't have any problems with it, this is believable since corrosion inhibitors in the anti-freeze counteract most of the minerals in tap water from doing any harm. I suppose I'm just a purist when it comes to this, but thats the way I was taught, and I have no problem spending an extra $2 for distilled water since it gives me peace of mind that I don't have unnecessary junk running through my coolant system.

i graduate in a year with a BS in chemistry . not doggin u, just lending help in the areas i can
