For those curious about the wiring, we have a discussion going on about this here:
Seat Heater Wiring?

I still haven't decided on my powering method yet... I am pretty green with automotive electrical wiring.

If you decide to try the relay method - I wonder if you could use the unswitched cigarette lighter circuit for the power and the switched radio circuit to create the power on the relay. I might try that - I'm a little worried about running them through the radio circuit as I am right now after reading that thread (although it does seem to be working fine - had them both cranking this morning...)

So I finally had Best Buy's crack team wire these up on my RS w/fuses and they did it via the Ignition circuit, which they claimed was 60 amp (I did not validate). So far so good, anyone care to point out any issues with this approach? It was suggested by their master tech at another store. Nice clean upgrade, all that's left to do is for me to mount the switches.

I have another set still to install on my SS too…

Well finally got the switches installed in the center console, just like schulzmc except spaced a little further apart, and had a relay added with power coming from the battery post on the driver side and 10 Amp fused and still switched to ignition.

Works great and love it in this weather!! Highly recommended.
