Default Vats Passkey II Security System

1994 Camaro V6 3.4L

So somedays my car won't start because of of the security system not recognizing the key. I've tried cleaning the key and contact points and nothing helped and the security light will still either stay on or it will be blinking.

I've watched a few videos on how to bypass the security system by installing a resistor in the orange security system wire but I can't find that wire on my car to save my life. Here is a link to the videos that explained how to do it tho:

GM Pass Key II Malfunctions: Bypassing V.A.T.S System - YouTube

How to Override Bypass GM VATS Passlock 1 2 Passkey Anti Theft System - YouTube

So can someone please explain to me where that wire is and possibly post a picture of it. That would help A LOT. Thanks again!

No actually when I did remove the kick panel there were quite a few orange wires. That's why I think I need a picture. I cut the first one I saw but it did not have two smaller white wires in it. It was just one large orange wire.

u can have any resistor and program it to you car. not exactly the same on ur key. that would be much easier.
